Tell them they are only rating their satisfaction right now, not last week or 6 months from now. Your role is to ask the same question for each section of the circle: On a scale of 0 – 10, how satisfied are you right now in this area of your life? Where zero is as bad as it can be – it couldn’t possibly be any worse and 10 is the ultimate in awesome. The centre of the circle is zero and the outer edge is rated at a 10. You will see a circle that is divided into eight equal sections. I always include this assessment tool in my welcome pack and use it to start the coaching process.
